Autumn 1
This term Year 2 have learned and performed Hands, Feet, Heart which is a song that celebrates South African Music. They performed the song together including their own actions.

Autumn 2
This term Year 2 have learned and performed the song Christmas song Ho Ho Ho. This song was particularly challenging as the children had to learn a rap as part of the performance.
Summer 2 2022
Watch Year 2 perform the rock song 'I Wanna Play In A Band'. They learned the words to the song and added their own movements. They also practised clapping and moving to the beat.
Spring 1
I want to play in a band. In this unit as well as learning to sing, play, improvise and compose with this song, children will listen and appraise classic Rock songs.
Spring 1
This term Year 2 listened to a range of rock music. They learned about how bands sing and play together in a ensemble. Enjoy our performance!
